Wine is grown, produced, bottled and loved all at the one single location in the heart of Central Victoria. We pride our selves in being actively involved in the total wine making process. The lovely setting features mature red gums and an annual creek line of more red gums in the distance. A seed being planted, but interestingly enough, vineyards aren't planted from seeds. At 48 years of age Alvaro planted, watered, cultured and loved every single vine that he planted by hand. Alvaro had the correct site, the correct climate, the correct opportunity, and the correct time of life. Now his eldest daughter Cristina has come on board. Stuffed bodied and fruity, allows this wine to be enjoyed easily. The monumental Shiraz combines with the Cabernet to produce a popular level red wine. A great wine to enjoy with family and friends. The Cabernet Sauvignon brings a wealthy and luscious wine to the table. Full of gloomy fruit flavor and a hint of pepper, this wine is exciting and fruity. A immense wine to appreciate with food and family and friends! The Monumental Shiraz has a ripe red ruby color, with some violet, sweet spice and pepper flavors with a finishing tannin. A firmly structured wine with a full fruity aroma of plum and berry. A huge wine to appreciate with food, family and friends! We are elated to say that we have hand farmed vineyards. The rows of vines provide rich, ripe grapes that are meticulously handed harvested. What this means to you be a higher quality wine. We also pick, crush, manufacture, bottle and label all our wines on site! Established in 1997, the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vines are well matured to donate a fruity and berry flavor with temperate tannin. Daughter Cristina has since taken over the business and has many new ideas and fresh fresh inspiration which will inject La terrazzo Vineyard into the front front of boutique wine. Parking is at the fore door so no need to travel kilometers by foot! Alvaro was born in Lucia, Tuscany but grew up in the hustle and bustle of the immense city Rome.
